Description:  Fully aware of the difficulties associated with wind turbine blade tensioning, the new Tentec Aero WTB is a purpose designed range of hydraulic bolt tensioning tools to suit most wind turbine bolting applications. All WTB Tensioning tools have the capacity to achieve the specified proof  load requirements as detailed in EN ISO 898-1:1999 and ASTM A490M for grade 10.9 Bolts.  These feature packed tensioners have been designed with rapid tensioning in mind and offer a safe, reliable and consistent method to simultaneously tension many bolts.

Description: Micron and Xtra pump units from Tentec are hydraulic power systems suitable for virtually all industrial, hydraulic cylinder applications. Tentec pumps are versatile, of robust construction and also provide total portability. Powered by air or electric motors, the units are simple to use and easy to maintain. Operating at 10000psi (690 bar) both systems deliver superb performance whatever the application.

  • Single-acting and manual double-acting hydraulic pump units in both series available on request
  • Also offered are pumps with high-level safety specifications for Zone 3, 2 and 1

Multi – Stud Tensioning System MSTS

Features:

• Portable hydraulic tensioning systems designed to tension all studs
simultaneously on various closures

• Applies predictable pre-load to studs eliminating problems
associated with torque-tightening techniques

• Meets ALARA objectives by minimising time spent in high radiation
area’s to remove/install closures

• Lightweight segments manufactured primarily from ARMOLOY-
coated high strength steel to provide superior corrosion protection and long
life

• Highly reliable hydraulic piston seals can be replaced easily

• Pistons have overstroke indicators, high pressure release device

• Diverts high pressure fluid away from the operator if the piston
stroke is exceeded

• Sleeved hydraulic hoses protect the operator in the event of hose
failure

• Lightweight, portable air operated hydraulic control units are
available

  • Standard Tentec hydraulic Nuts are suiltable for use in temperatures up to 100ºC
  • For temperatures above this level special seals are available, cantact Tentec for further details
  • The use of machine cut polyurethane seals, ensure a reliable leak free Tesioning system
  • Tentec Nuts can be used with spherical washers where joint members are badly out of square
    Where the standard Tentec Nuts aer not suitable, special designs are avaiable on request
  • Maximum working pressure = 33000 psi : 2275 bar
  • If the standard Hydraulic Nuts are not suitable Tentec offer special designs on request.
