Flare System is an exhaust gas treatment system of chemical processing and oil and gas exploitation. Basically, the system is like an incinerator, also known as an exhaust gas burning platform, which is usually placed on high platforms from 20m to 30m above the ground, in some cases over 50, 60m high.
Flare system structure usually has 2 parts:
- The stack: is the part of the supporting tower commonly called the stack (with vertical rigs) and Boom (with horizontal and inclined rigs). This part is usually composed of U, V-shaped structural steel bars welded together to form a frame, in the middle of the body or below the body is a gas pipeline to the main torch above.
- The Flare part: (Flare Tip) this is the exhaust gas treatment part. It usually has a straight tubular structure and is divided into small tubes around to form a large bundle of mangroves. Different construction characteristics produce different types of torches (see torch section). The gases flowing in the torch body are filtered and accelerated to escape, creating a burning zone away from the burner. Ignition and monitoring of the torch operation is carried out by an ignition control electrical system located at the base of the system or away from the system to avoid the influence of thermal radiation, ensuring safety and convenience. convenient operation and maintenance.
