Regenerative Thermal Oxidizers (RTO) are waste gas incinerators that employ multiple beds of ceramic media that absorb heat from the exhaust gas and use this captured heat to preheat the incoming process streams. RTO’s are often used in applications such as at paint booths, printing mills, and paper mills which produce low VOC concentrations in relatively higher flow rates. This technology eliminates these streams in a highly efficient and cost effective manner while minimizing the need for fuel gas.
