Internal Floating Roof – Full Contract

General Information: The I.F.R. Full Contact type is an emission-controlling device that is completely vapor-tight. The purpose of this internal floating roof is to completely remove the vapor area and seal the space above the floating roof, preventing evaporation loss.

Features:

  • The construction material can be aluminum or Stainless Steel, according to API 650 standard.
  • Its combination with an aluminum Geodetic Dome provides maximum control of the loss of emissions as well as maximum use of storage capacity.
  • The materials are compatible with a wide range of stored products.
  • Employs a single panel design. Each module is fully tested in the factory to verify the tightness of the vapors and can be individually inspected in the field.
  • Do not use complex or dangerous materials inside.
  • It does not use supports that perforate the platform, either using cables or legs to support the roof. This reduces leakage losses from drilling at very low levels compared to traditional carbon steel screens.
  • It is strong enough to withstand all sealing systems, including both primary and secondary metal seals.
  • Lightweight structure with exceptional strength, using patented construction techniques.

General Introduction: The API Cover is a system to reduce the VOC emissions from API separators in industrial plants and wastewater treatment plants.

  • This type of Full Contact floating cover is constructed with aluminum material or with plastic material reinforced with glass fiber
  • Designed to be in contact with the entire surface of the liquid.
  • Unmatched higher strength.
  • Unsinkable design and construction.
  • All components and connections are vapour tight.
  • Maintenance-free design.
  • Resistant to almost all industrial residual liquids.
  • Resistant to UV rays and to the ozone.
  • Long useful life.

ALUMINUM DOME ROOF

General Information: The Aluminum Geodesic Dome is a self-supporting cover used usually in refineries and tank farms, where the storage product and the structural tank components must be protected from atmospheric and environmental influences, while at the same time, minimizing hazardous vapor emissions and preventing water from entering the storage tanks. They can be used for both new tanks and retrofit projects

Features:

  • The assembled structure complies with the design requirements API 650 standard.
  • Lowest cost solution and short-term payback.
  • Eliminates rainwater entry and possible product contamination.
  • Prevents the possibility of a sunk roof due to rain or snow accumulation.
  • Easy to install (plus minimum downtime).
  • Maintenance-free structure due to all aluminum construction.
